Financial Engineer - Simulator (New York City/CT) This person will join our newly formed Simulator group, jointly reporting to both the CEO and the CTO. The work will entail the ongoing development of a simulator for back testing trading ideas, using historical data. Work will be primarily in C/C++ on Linux systems. Candidates are expected to have strong fundamental skills (C/C++, shell scripting, data structures, algorithms) and strong quantitative skills (probability and statistics). Experience with numerical programming, financial modeling, complex system development, parallel computing, and batch schedulers is useful but not required.
